Blues dance is a family of Black American social dances (some solo, some partnered) that coevolved with different styles of Blues music throughout history, starting in the late 1800s and extending through today. Blues dance celebrates freedom of expression within community, improvisation, rhythm, and more!

**Evening schedule**
7-8pm: Class with Damon & Kelsy Stone - Close Embrace Dances
8-9pm: Community Studio: Office Hours
9-11pm: Blues dance party DJed by Damon & Kelsy

**Class info**
7-8pm: Close Embrace Dances
In this class we'll explore the different Blues dances primarily danced in close embrace. Expect to refine your sensitivity, expand your creativity, and explore the subtlety of the Blues in close embrace.

8-9pm: Office Hours during Community Studio
This session is specifically geared toward tailored instruction for the individual. What is that question you've always wanted to ask, that topic you've always wanted to explore, a drill that would help you improve your dancing in the area you've been focused on, or the unknown improvement that will transform your dancing? We're here to help!

**Pricing**
Sliding scale $10-25, free for volunteers & staff. No one turned away due to lack of funds. Cash or Venmo at the door. Presale tickets coming soon
